I suppose, "The man named Jesus" or "Jesus, the man- Who Was He?" would be better.

It might be written that way on purpose to get folks to thing about that.

The Watchtower Society denies Him in so many ways.

Well, it does jive with their theology. Jesus died and dissolved into gasses. Then up in Heaven Jehovah recreated a spirit being named Michael, the Archangel, and implanted Jesus' memories in him. So technically the Jesus who was a man is HISTORY, as per the WTS.

Man, that's pretty BAD, isn't it? How bold and unashamed can they get?

They obviously forgot about this scripture:

(NKJV) Revelation 4:8 -- [The] four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was AND IS and IS TO COME!"

(Lord is not all caps even tho the WT forced their JEHOVAH name in there which is a huge error, but allows them to "misintepret" these following verses)...

Since they THINK that is "Jehovah" who is COMING, I guess that gives them the "right" to "boot" the Lord Jesus into PAST Tense. However, they need to rethink WHO IT IS that IS coming because Zech. 14 says (using their own NWT):

Zechariah 14:3-4
3 “And JEHOVAH WILL CERTAINLY GO FORTH and war against those nations as in the day of his warring, in the day of fight. 4 And HIS FEET WILL ACTUALLY STAND IN THAT DAY UPON THE MOUNTAIN OF THE OLIVE TREES, which is in front of Jerusalem, on the east; and the mountain of the olive trees must be split at its middle, from the sunrising and to the west. There will be a very great valley; and half of the mountain will actually be moved to the north, and half of it to the south.

Is JEHOVAH REALLY the one who IS COMING and putting HIS FEET on the Mt. of Olives? I would imagine he has some pretty BIG feet, whereas the Lord Jesus who WENT UP to heaven FROM the Mt. of Olives will LIKEWISE COME AGAIN in the SAME manner (Acts 1:10,11,12). Jesus had "normal feet" and it is HE WHO IS COMING, NOT "Jehovah" (the "Jehovah of the JWs").

And Zech 12:10 adds confirmation that it is JESUS who IS coming:
10 “And I will pour out upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of favor and entreaties, and THEY WILL CERTAINLY LOOK TO THE ONE WHOM THEY PIERCED THROUGH, and they will certainly wail over Him as in the wailing over an only [son]; and there will be a bitter lamentation over him as when there is bitter lamentation over the firstborn [son]. 11 In that day the wailing in Jerusalem will be great, like the wailing of Ha·dad·rim´mon in the valley plain of Me·gid´do. 12 And the land will certainly wail, each family by itself; the family of the house of David by itself, and their women by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their women by themselves; 13 the family of the house of Le´vi by itself, and their women by themselves; the family of the Shim´e·ites by itself, and their women by themselves; 14 all the families that are left remaining, each family by itself, and their women by themselves.

Since when did JEHOVAH GET "PIERCED"?

Zech. chapter 12, verses 1-9 names Jehovah SEVEN TIMES leading up to verse 10, above, so as I said, Since WHEN Did Jehovah "get pierced?" (rhetorical questions since I already know the answer).

To change the subject back to the AWAKE! magazine... I saw this guy on Oprah the other day, and when they showed his CD Cover, I thought, "Hey, I wonder if that kid is a JW?"

The front of the CD has the word "AWAKE" in BIG BOLD letters in what looks to be exactly the same FONT as the AWAKE! magazine. See it here at amazon:
