When I was first coming out, I tried to research some of the 1975 stuff because I remember my mom talking about it. I tried first the Watchtower CD and then gave up and started digging in my dad's library. I found some of the articles that pointed to that date easily there. Why couldn 't I find it on the WT cd's indexes but I could with the older printed ones? Watchtower coverup?

I haven't seen another post like this since I started visiting here. Has anyone noticed this too?

oh yup many of us have noticed

The WTS has been doing this for years. It's a way to hide the mistakes they have published in the past

The bound volumes have been doctored too from the original WT or Awake! magazine and the books

I remember trying to find something that I had read in the WT and then went to the bound volume to hunt for it. Even though I could picture where it was on the page I could never find it. I wound up thinking I have a very poor memory.

It wasn't until I got on the net that I discovered the rewrites.

I've been out for 21 years so my memory goes back a long way. What I have realized in those 20 years that my memory for where something is on a page in any other book is exceptionall good. I don't hink I have ever NOT found something in a non-WT book

Try PMing Blondie on here...she might have some insight (pardon the pun).

I know there have been some textual differences between the CD version and that printed some time ago...especially in relation to timelines etc.

With some insightful googling you can come up with changes in the Studies in the Scriptures. The only one that comes up again and again is in a 1989 WT. I noticed that when we studied the Daniel Prophecy book for the second time that the WTS had edited it and some of us had old books and some had new. That was eery. I think that is why they gave out the "adjustments" in the Revelation book ahead of time and did not print new books (besides the financial constraints).

but they did print new revelation books I have one. I think they thought that a lot of people will be using there old already marked up book so they went a ahead with the fiasco in pointing out the changes and the fact there are so many this time.

Yes, searching for 1975, one learns about their tactics. I've noticed they "conveniently" begin the Awake digital copies from 1970 onward via the CD.

Recall, the real incriminating quotes begin in 1968.
