    Musicians have a habit of borrowing each other, or moving onto new bands as their careers develop. This site is attempting to map the 'Music Genome' where it comes to musicians, a unique concept and a very interesting way of tracking down discographies.

    Just tried the search box with Johnny Rivers and ZZ Top, the site had nothing to say. I guess they are origionals then...

    It is quite a new project and probably UK based.

    I have never seen Soft Machine bibliography and musicians so well charted :

    In the film "School of Rock" Jack Black had a diagram on a blackboard which pretty much showed the "evolution" of rock music as various sub-genres developed from jitterbug, swing, country and jazz roots.
