If animal sacrifices is considered 'Satanic/Pagan/Occultish' practice, then why do the JWs worship a God who demanded animal sacrifices and still consider that blood be poured on the ground or discarded as a sacrifice to God?
Following the WTBTS practice of following everything back to its source (supposedly) to discover why it was done and then label it as Satanic, why do they still continue their obsession with Blood?

You may dislike the Dubs
You may oppose their stand on blood transfusions (however muddled that stand may be these days)
But please don't kid yourself by speaking of "a God who demanded animal sacrifices etc etc" as if ONLY the NWT speaks of such a Deity. Regardless of what the policy on blood transfusions may be, the Old Testament God is the God of the Bible. He is not the sole property of Jehovah's Witnesses or the WTBTS..
You should be demanding to know how ANY FUNDAMENTALIST Christian resolves the contradictory image of the blood thirsty God of the OT with the oh-he-died-for-your-sins-benevolent Jesus H. Christ.

Jehovah's Witnesses are removed from Christ and God by several barriers.
1.They cannot partake of the only ceremony commanded by Jesus unless they are designated the vanishingly few "anointed". They sit idly by.
2. They are forced to call God by a known mispronouncement of his name.
3.When they do use his mispronounced name; they do it with over-familiarity instead of awe. (The Jews were so cautious that they would besmirch the divine name they substituted Adonai out of respect.) (The JW's say it was mere superstitious fear.)
4. The vast majority of Jehovah's Witnesses are told Christ is NOT THEIR mediator!
5.JW's must earn their salvation by works (if at all.)
6.To JW's the actual Kingdom of God is reduced to magazine sales in which the contents of the articles have proved stale and shifting.
7. By making themselves holier-than-thou in marginalizing themselves through weird ritual behaviors (no birthday celebrations, no Xmas, no Thanksgiving, no respect for their voting privileges or flag, etc.) the JW's act as though their collective shit doesn't stink.
JW's don't have a "Satanic" god. They have no god at all. The JW version of Jehovah sent his son Jesus back during WWI to establish his Kingdom once and for all on Earth and nothing has happened! No Armageddon. No pradise. Nothing but nothing! Things are the same as ever. The JW's Jesus has been sitting on his lazy ass working crossword puzzles and editing the Watchtower (fecklessly) for 92 years!! NOTHING IMPORTANT HAS HAPPENED OR CHANGED.

The JWs claim to be the only true religion carrying the name of God. Their literalist translation of whatever suits them to take as literal, at any given point in time, including blood and any other biblical 'issue' is the problem here. It seems to be a problem that they cannot see the wood for the trees when it comes to the old Testament. Imagine any God demanding animal sacrifices today, and immeadiately their hands go up in horror and fear. But their God, supposedly timeless, demanded mass slaughters of all kinds of innocent animals and still they claimed the son shone from his arse. He demanded the slaughter of a human being.....hence blood, and they consider this 'good'.
As much as I agree that this is a problem of all Fundy religions, they JWs ever announced claim that they are The Truth, allows extra vomit in their direction! Their intolerance, criticism and ridicule of everyother faith, allows them the privilige of extra ridicule in their direction.
Terry - I totally agree with you that they 'have no god at all'. He/She/It is a God of total inaction. As he never existed in the OT, down to never existing int he NT, he certainly does nothing to earn his keep in the modern world. Sorry God! You are the weakest link!!!

The ritual use of blood takes precedence over everything.
The Jehovah`s Witness God does not exsist!..They do worship a corrupt publishing company though,The WBT$....If your going to worship a publishing company.Why not worship "TV Guide"? At least thier predictions are right most of the time..Or how about "Publishers Clearing House",you`ve got a chance to win a million dollars on a regular basis..But the WBT$???..They`ve been wrong literally since "Custer died at Little Big Horn"..WBT$ published the first Watchtower on the exact same year Custer died..Thats a long time to be wrong..LOL!!...OUTLAW
