Actually, there is great benefit to not celebrating any holidays by the Watchtower. All the Bethel workers worldwide have to work on them days and so the slavery goes on with no one questioning it!
Oh for a day off!

In a Sunday, December 17, 2006, Holiday Worship Guide of the Capital Times newspaper an article appeared called "Has Christmas been hijacked?" Notice the comment by the JW contingency.
JEHOVAH ABOVE ALL
Of course, not all Christian dominations celebrate Christmas. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the holiday actually has pagan roots and is historically inaccurate.
"Because of the connection that Christmas has with false religion, those who truly wish to please God avoid celebration as well as other pagan-rooted holidays," says Duane Reed, a congregatoin elder in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Buckeye Road. Jehovah's Witnesses' "ultimate goal is to avoid contamination of their precious relationship with the Most High God, whom they solemnly serve, Jehovah."
Where is Jesus in this statement? Do you think people reading it will think that Christ has a place in the JWs life?
Blondie
No he doesn't, in reading the NT you cannot escape the role Christ has and how important he is and it is from Jehovah God. He has been replaced.
