    I found this quote interesting:

"Under both Rutherford and Knorr the practice was developed and institutionalized that new workers could initially be placed in occupations for which they had no training and often no aptitude. Men with few mechanical skills would sometimes be assigned to learn highly technical jobs in printing while others with good educations and writing ability might very well be given the task of mopping floors and cleaning toilets. This was done to teach humility and make them realize that whatever they accomplished was done with the ‘help of Jehovah’ rather than on the basis of their own talents. Whether the society’s leaders knew they were emulating the Jesuits with this practice is difficult to say ... ."

That is true in only a very broad sense. Jesuits (Societas Iesu i.e. Society of Jesus) are religious order within Catholic church responsible for some of the most enlightening things that church had ever undertaken. Quite a few times things they did were in direct contrast with what church wanted them to do. One of those times you might remember is support to the idea of Liberation Theology popular in South America at the time of some of harshest oppressions of ordinary populous. You might remember that even Pope John Paul 2 condemned it.

Jesuits were even recognised by Yed Washem - memorial to victims of Holocaust - I don't remember how many but a number of Jesuit priests have been recognized for saving Jews at the time when no one else dared, at the time when JW though being in similar predicament thought that Jews deservedly suffered because of giving Jesus to Romans for executions (like today's Jews have anything to do with that).

Today Jesuits run, many universities in a number of Asian countries, and are responsible for enlightment of many within the church. Not a small achievement.

Comparing JW to Jesuits is real insult to Jesuits.

    "The Mission" --- A Photoplay

"Jeremy Irons plays a Spanish Jesuit who goes into the South American wilderness to build a mission in the hope of converting the Indians of the region. Robert De Niro plays a slave hunter who is converted and joins Irons in his mission. When Spain sells the colony to Portugal, they are forced to defend all they have built against the Portuguese aggressors."

If you haven't already seen it, Fats [it's 20 years old], please do. Determine WHO sells out WHOM. I feel the same scenario is about to be played out again in the near future. I hate the REAL false religion.
