it was out about 2 years ago, i rented it this weekend..
the catholics portrayed in it remind me of the modern day watchtower.
they are complaining about martin luther having " independent thinking" and " a bad influence on the people"

No - is it any good?
Yes, I have seen it twice. It made a lot of sense to me at the time as I felt like the same struggle was happening in my life.
stillaelder it's kind of slow moving but gets better towards the middle/end
anyone have a watchtower cd?
i'd be interested to know what they've published about him.
I got it from Netflix a few months ago and really liked it. I agree that there are a lot of similarities between the Catholic Church at that time and today's Watchtower Society. But then I always thought that the Watchtower's hatred of everything Catholic was more "Catholicism Envy" than anything else!
Note to Watchtower: size DOES matter!
I have the movie and think it was very well done. Luther dealt with difficult questions. I loved when asked, "Have you ever dared to think God is unjust?" At that point in his life he saw God as a tyrant. Reminds me of many on this forum.
