Anyone planning to watch this? I am and am a fan of HBO docs. They are well put together, IMO.

The filmmaker was on Good Morning America today. She said Pastor Ted was her guide! Lol!

Ok, those of you in the Bible belt...

Are there really that many HUGE white crosses on the roadsides? White crosses do not signify a good thing to me, especially in the south, and despite my aversion to religion.

The movie, "Leap of Faith" came to mind as I watched this special.

( i do live in the south and if you go down a rural highway you will see crosses occasionally)

the part that reminded me most of the jw's was when falwell was talking about training lawyers to fight the ACLU.

scary how fired up they can get people to be and the people may not even know their leaders true agendas.

ted haggard going on and on about pastors staying clean was a hoot. how he said those things with a straight face is beyond me!

This sounds fun to watch. And yes, you will see crosses EVERYWHERE. I have two neighbors that have big ones in their yard.

I just watched this as well. It was disturbing to say the least. Made my stomach turn just like watching "Jesus Camp".
