They think they are s-oo good- the worlds most perfect Christian religion- all their friends tell them how right they are and how much talent they have.
Wow- then one of our Simon apostate types gets ahold of them out in service and tears them apart, they do the walk of shame as they leave your door. Exposed for the talentless fraud that they are.
And when they leave, they usually still believe Simon is wrong, and that they're very talented.

Yes they definately suffer from mass myopia in the way they veiw themselves, regardless of what Simon says. They do there walk of shame too. The only problem is they continue to sing there horribly off tune songs until simons ears are splitting and he's going home.
Ha ha, clever comparison! I like it. Yeah, you're right, the American Idol contestants usually STILL won't acknowledge that they're bad... they walk out swearing and angry with Simon. Maybe they might even know it deep down, but they have to put up a front and trick themselves so that reality doesn't hurt so much. Just like with the JWs.
