I just picked up a book called: "Tutankhamun - the Exodus Conspiracy" by Andrew Collins and Chris Ogilvie-Herald. Has anyone heard anything about this book or read it? I'm wondering if there's been any reviews out on it's accuracy. As we know, we can't believe everything that's in print. ;)

Just right off the bat, the sensationalistic title tells me right off the bat that this not a work by an Egyptologist or a Bible scholar. His bio on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Collins_%28author%29) confirms that in spades. What I have read about the book online indicates that it is pretty awful pseudohistory.

Coincidentally, I'm taking a writing class taught by Andrew Collins.

Thanks everyone. I just went and read the reviews, don't know why I didn't think of that in the first place. So far there is alot of "may be", "could be", "seems like", etc.
I already know that the bible's version of "the exodus" is just a fable. I don't really want to replace it with another one.
Devon, that's interesting. Is he a good teacher?
