These are the same guys down @ the WTBTS that teach Jesus has already returned. I say don't follow after them!

Thanks Rooster, but I cannot take credit for it, it was recorded almost 2000 years ago, it just took me years later to truly see this and many other scriptures that we read many many many times but we were pre-disposed to believe something else that pointed us to men instead of God and Christ, funny it was there all the time and I preferred to believe men instead of God.

True, nobody needs high ranks like the GB telling us what to do but since the WTS is their corporation they will insist on being at its head and find irrelevant verses to justify it eg the mythical governing body of the early church in Jerusalem. Just like the catholics created the "Peter prince of the apostles" myth who gave the bishops of Rome primacy over the whole church. Such attitudes quickly lead to authoritarianism and dictatorships.
i'm going to bring that scripture up to my father later today. i also like 1st timothy 2:5-6
