I just love listening to Jon Courson - he seems to have what I needed to hear. I am pretty healed now - but revisted him today since I don't go to church [due to schedule not lack of desire].

I zoned out on the Deut. quote. How long does it take before he finishes reading the Bible and gets to the point? sorry, just can't listen to preaching like that . . .really, how far along to the meat of the discussion, so I can skip the religious stuff?

I used to get Jon on the calvary chapel radio station. Thats how I learned the Bible from Calvary Chapel pastors. They teach the real TRUTH.

I have been somewhat impressed by the Calvary Chapel story. I think the story can be learned about in a book avalible on line called "Harvest" by Chuck Smith, I read quite a bit, though not all. It is a collection of real life experiances starting with Chuck himself and then other associates of his. Greg Laurie was one and there are some others, but I can't remember their names right now. Anyway it's a good read and I do recomend it. seek2find

Thanks for posting the link, I have just finished listening to it. I wish my JW family would listen to this message. I don't know of any churches in South Africa that deal with cults head on like this. Do you know if the Calvary Chapel is in operation in South Africa?
