10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.
or 10 - You believe in God and that He is the God of all. You feel a longing to share what you have found with others.
9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.
or - You feel your potential is boundless and that all of mankind is one great family because God created you - the process is of little concern.
8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.
or - You laugh at no-one, humilty is your watchword. You believe you have undestood the bible correctly but you're willing to learn.
7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!
or - Your face turns purple when you hear of atrocities. You feel that the OT is a record of God's dealings imperfectly written down by men. You do not see the bible as an excuse for behaviour.
6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.
or - You laugh at no one. You recognise that beliefs are important and respect is vital. You have no way of knowing exactly how the conception of Jesus took place other than by what is imperfectly written.
5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.
or - Reading the scriptures literally was once how everyone was taught but now as we learn more we realise that simplistic reading does not normally square with science. As we learn more we identify the context more clearly - the story of Genesis was symbolic not factual - something that is internally consistent with God's teaching methods throughout scripture and brought to a high pint of excellence by Jesus' parables.
4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."
or - You aren't a catholic and simply believe that there is a simple choice all must face in this life or the next - whether to accept Jesus and His sacrifice for sins or to pay for those sins yourself.
3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.
or - You have a witness from God that is yours alone and cannot be understood by anyone else until they have one. That witness is unique and powerful enough to convert you to a life of humility, kindness and love. Modern science , history , geology, biology and physics cannot describe this nor have any power to effect an emotional change like this.
2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.
or - You see prayer as a discussion with God not a shopping list, a discussion where you find God's will and overcome personal issues.
1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian.
or - You know that the bible isn't christianity at all but the Spirit of God testifies of Christ who is the centre of christianity and He can be understood by children. You know that athiests who can quote the bible better than you have utterly missed the point. -

Ha Ha Ha! I clicked on the link because I find myself becoming more conservative over time and wondering if "fundamental" ideals are creeping into my behaviors.......Not even close.
