Yeah, that was me! I! Whoever! Cool. I was shocked. I was just about the last one out of about 80 people who got up and spoke at that City Council meeting.

For a little inside info on that whole debacle, the way it was being spun by the Mayor of Murphy was that the citizens were OUTRAGED at Dateline and Perverted Justice coming to town without Hizzoner's permission. He made it into a political platform in an attempt to fire the City Manager and the Police Chief. However, when the open City Council meeting was over, it was 95% (at least) in FAVOR of the Dateline sting and only a few whiny upper class twits who objected. I was proud of the citizenry. Oh, and the City Manager and Police Chief are still around. There was a half-hearted petition to recall the mayor that went around afterward (which I signed) but life goes on, and we aren't being invaded by slavering child predators, and I don't think property values have gone down any . . . so there.

I like what Dateline is doing in those stings. I think it is a good thing.

Just prior to one of the commercial breaks, they showed the meeting for a second, so I knew I was going to look out for the two of you (I'll never forget your faces even though I haven't talked to you in person since last May). But when they showed the meeting itself, and then they showed YOU speaking, I was surpised and excited for you!!!
