i have just got my first airbrush/compressor, etc,,,,kinda intimidates me,,, taking a course soon, but in the meantime
have any here done any? any suggestions, etc

I do quite a bit, about to start on high end bikes in a few weeks for a local builder.
Lately I've been doing more regular production paint repair work on cars...it may sound generic and unrelated, but I've got a guy with 6 years in the industry working with me that says it's by far the most challenging thing he's done. We fix damage on new vehicles on the lot, and you can't tell we did anything at all when we are done.
All I can suggest is pick up trade magazines and books and then practice practice practice.
Oh...and plan to screw up a lot, it's part of the process, you have to make a certain number of mistakes before you get good.

Oooohhh....Luckyyyyyyyyyy.....Yeah, I've done some airbrushing....make sure you clean it alot.
