Hiya all!
I would love to hear from you guys how mainstream Christians and textual critics/scholars interpret the following features of Revelation 1:10-17
i) The Lord's Day
ii) The seven congregations - did these really exist? Did they "resemble a section of a modern-day circuit of Jehovah's Witnesses"? Even if that were true, shouldn't the old geezers have written that the circuit of JWs resemble those 7 ancient congs, not the other way around? There's a hint of self-importance there.
iii) Who was the "son of man" with seven stars in his hand and a sword in his mouth?
