writing the wts

I know someone who just wrote the wts to tell them exactly what they thought of what's been going on. This is a person in good standing and is active. They know what's going on, they believe some of the doctrines, but are very unhappy about the scandals and the bs that has been going on.

They didn't sign their name or say which kh they go to.

    So it got me thinking...

How many lurkers do we have here? How many active jws are unhappy about what is going on? How many of you lurkers or active board members who are active jws have written to the Society outlining your concerns about the child abuse trials and the blood inconsistencies?

I am directing it at active witnesses. Because I wonder if the WTS realized how many active witnesses are aware of what is going on would that help at all?

I mean, maybe it wouldn't and perhaps there are more writing than I can even imagine. I just started thinking about it and thought I'd ask.

That's a really good point BSoM. I've often thought about this myself, but I think I would find it hard to be objective, (think I'm still in my angry phase). I also thought that we could annonymously leak it to the papers about all the pedophile databases the wts have and the fact that none of the people in these congs are being warned that they have child abusers in their midst.

I am working on my letter, it is going to be on 607. I will sign it with my name.

I recall reading on the board that someone else had written about it and got no answer.

Hey guys, write them and email them. Have no fear. Use anonymity if you need. If you need send me your letters and I'll send them

Nobody can know the number of disappointed JWs but there are no doubt many. As the internet availability expands more and more will find out the truth about the "truth". But many JWs don't care because they have a good life there, friends, relatives, colleagues. They give the org some time and get all that in return, religion doesn't mean much to them whatever it is, true or false.

It's good to see that there are others who have wondered the same thing.

Greendawn, I think, unfortunately, you make a very good point.

tsof: Hey thanks for that! That's why I wonder if people just did it anon there wouldn't be that fear.

Jean: I really would like to read that. When you get it finished I hope you will share it with us.

Free2think: I know exactly what you mean. You could start writing but by the time you get past, "To whom it may concern" the anger starts flying out of your pen faster then the words, lol. Objectivity is sooo important. I have unfortunately learned that the hard way with my family.
