I've read rumours that people thought Knorr was gay, and that he got married to end these rumours, which might be true as his relationship was said to be celibate.

If it was it would be buried so far beneath the lies it would never be made public, kind of reminds me of Pauls words about some mens sins being exposed now and others for later but we will all stand before the throne, just a heavier judgement for those who brag about not being sinful and all but perfect.
