Most of you would remember the Davinci Code years back, so catch me up. please, Do you think Jesus was Married? Had Kids?

I had a Witness sister that said she was never going to get married. I know of one young couple that proclaimed they were never having children.

I knew a wife of an elder that discontinued her birth control in secret so she can have her one desired child before menopause. This elder was very angry for some time.

So, I do hope Jesus was married, with kids, and would've been a great Husband and Father, just curiously would be some contrast of many witnesses today.

It was Jewish law to marry. Every Jewish male had to be for the title of Rabbi, And it said that Jesus fulfilled the law. Jews back then were naturally accepting that the coming messiah would be a married man.

Constantine was the one that deified Jesus, so they could unite the Empire. Jews were very strict on procreation because they knew the eventual Messiah would come from a mans seed. Using logic, it is very natural.

He was just a rebel in that he spoke out against their greed and corruption, and so they rejected him for that.

As my username suggests, I believe it was Magdalene. I have been reading on Mary Magdalene since leaving the Hall. guess I can catch you all up on my readings, sorry, and you can catch me up with your opinions. I have rebellious beliefs.

Could you all believe in a married Jesus?

I answer no to all th above. He was not married. To say he was is a lack of faith in what he has accomplished for mankind.

The Mormons believe he had 2 wives, hey if we are going to strech the truth lets give him multiple wives and kids.

But if Jesus was who he claimed and came to redeem mankind from what Adam lost, then his sacrafice had to be complete and unblimished. He traded his seed for the lost seeds of Adam, a race for a race. Because he bought us with is blood, then we, who accept him become his sons and daughters, his kids.

Jesus fullfilled the law, thereby removing the old law with all it's precepts and ceremony. Jesus refused to be called by any title and pointed to his Father in the heavens as the one who is worthy of such honor.

Constantine was in no postion to deify anyone, let alone it being 400 years after Christ died and was raise to heaven by God.

It was not Jewish law for every male to be called Rabbi, only those of pristly tribes, and John the baptist and the apostal Paul must not have read the same laws as you for they too were umarried and encouraged those who could to stay single.

If there was really a Jesus, he was just a man and may or may not have married. 30, and the eldest son in his family-probably married. The eldest sons generally were the ones who held the family lineage. (unless of course they sold their birthright).
