I would like to know MORE about Gilead

Does anybody know and does want to help me?

I always had a lot of curiosity on Gilead.....

Which is the " disciplines " (study course ) that they have?!

How many hours do study in class per day?!

Does she have a book of them how the elders and the pioneers?

When they are at the school does he have to read the Bible all?!

Did they tell me that they receive and do they study the new publications that they will be realese in the Congress, it is true?

Do they make proofs (exams) and if yes they can reprove? and if can reprove, go so the graduation and are they designated?

Here there are some former-gileade gilead’s?!

were they willing to give me some explanations? thank you for the comments

    Great post Alex! Vielen Dank!

It's a theme that has rarely been discussed here on JWD. Are there any Gilead graduates here??

I would like to know more about Gilead. Can anybody who knows about Gilead help answer my questions? I have always had a lot of curiosity about it.

    * What subjects are on the curriculum?
    * How long does class run each day?
    * Is there a special Gilead study book, like the special books that Pioneers get at Pioneer school, or like the elder manual?
    * Do they read the Bible at all at Gilead?
    * I have heard that Gilead students receive new publications before they are released at the assemblies. Is this true?
    * Does the study course include tests? If so, are these tests graded? Can you flunk out of Gilead based on these tests?
    * Are there any people here who have gone to Gilead, and if so, can they answer some of my questions?

Thank you in advance for your comments.

Yes, I would also like to see a detailed list of courses taken by the Gilead students.

That information really should be made known.

Not having ever attended Gilead, I can't give you a detailed class itinerary, however one of my relatives attended this.

It is primarily a class for what most would call 'Missionary' preparation. A lot of time is spent trying to teach you as much about the language you will be using in the foreign country and also about it's culture. Some 'Bible' stuff, but you are suppose to know that before you are enrolled in the class.

The Watchtower reports every Gilead graduation class, who attended, how many, married and single, what they learned, where they are from, where they are going, who ( Governing Body member ) gave what talks.etc.

This would be a good thread for you. The poster was a recent Gilead grad.
