During the 30's Golden Age of Hollywood a man who later became a JW was an executive with MGM. Prior to that he was an editor and directors assistant on the "Our Gang" series. When MGM requested of the film board that the line spoken at the end by Clark Gable, "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn", it was this man who previewed the clip to the board and explained the studios reasons for wanting to keep the line. As we know, it was allowed and has become a part of Hollywood history.
He was an elder for many years and passed away a couple of years ago well into his nineties. However, several years before, he and his wife had completely rejected the WTS as a bogus religion.
