    This from Ireland.

"Taoiseach Bertie Ahern will today open the first structured talks before the State and religious leaders to discuss areas of common concern."

Guess who will be there? Yes, Jehovah's Witnesses.

Other religious bodies at the talks will include the Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist, Lutheran and Moravian churches.

Religious bodies. The following paragraph list other sects including the JWs. Seems the Government has distinguished the difference between a religion and a cult.

DJK that second paragraph is not meant to contain cultic organisations since there are in it many mainstream religions. But it's surprising that the JWs are mingling with what they consider to be daughters of Babylon the great and discussing with a representative of the wild beast 666 the world wide political system, as they see it. They have done this several times recently, are they opening up? BTW "taoiseach" is the Irish equivalent of prime minister ie the head of the government.

I read my post after hitting the send button and I knew I would have to eat the word "cult". Before I get beat up any further, I apologize to anyone who was offended by it. There appears to be a separation of selected groups, as for who actually made that separation, maybe it was the author of the article.

The Watchtower explains the Theocratic Government

The Watch Tower Society is a political party.
The Theocratic Government is a world government
run by them. The Watch Tower Society is political
in message, political in structure, and political in nature.

The Watch Tower Society's purpose is political.

How timely! The February 2007 Awake is titled: Is Religion Losing Its Influence? with a pic of a church of Christendom sinking in brownish muck.

It's a bashfest on the "supermarketing of religion."

This is interfaith "fornication." No part of the world, eh?
