Yes, we non-religious apostates have our paradise fantasies too. Most of us let go of the fantasy of living forever on a paradise earth for another hope. The one we hope in is a little more realistic than the one we have left behind.
We have accepted that we don’t have all the answers about God and an afterlife. Neither does anyone else. We no longer worry about things we have no control over. We are resolved to cherish our freedom of mind and choose to live this life to the fullest, being the best we can be. We refuse to waste precious time being negative about our gift of life. We will not wish this life away for another one that will never come.
Our hope is that one day our friends and family will be freed from the bondage of mind and body to the Watchtower Society or any other destructive belief system!
We hope that some day soon we will be so busy reestablishing lost relationships and helping them to rebuild their lives and living our own that we won’t have time for this board except to post our wonderful experiences of friends and family united again along with stories of lives and minds reclaimed!

My Gosh!!!
This must sound really nutty not to have any replies!
I know this is just wishful thinking.I don't really believe this will ever happen.
But I feel it has a greater chance of coming true than so many of the religious fantasies of paradise or hopes for the future.I wish it could come true.

Ranchette, I agree. It may never happen but the world needs wishful thinkers like you.

Hi Ranchette,
You said:

I second that hope. It is indeed sad to watch people struggle with this old superstition. If we take Christianity for example, an agressive religion which see itself superior to all other and preach a message of doom to all those who do not share their superstitious ideas of Jesus.
Think about how much tragedy, pain and suffering that have been caused by their "missionary" activity, where they have pushed their brand of superstition on people with "inferior" superstition.
It will still take thousands of years, but one day we will hopefully have been able to rid ourselves of this evil curse of religion. John Lennon's song "Imagine" should be our hymn.
Take care,
Norm

"non-religious apostates"
Hm, that term kinda bites me in the ass. It's true, we're apostate because we espouse the power of human reasoning, and have nothing to do with other equally floopy outlooks on life that use hand-crafted illusions like floating castles, smiling clouds and evil reproductive organs. Non-religious apostates are also the most misrepresented, because their "human reasoning" is under the whim of Satan. That's how dangerous ANY bit of reasoning is to this org. Reasoning = Satan. As for your hopes for earth: I hold out my own hope that technology and medical advances will keep exploding as quickly as they have been. It's really exponential. If human cloning were a reality, and if brain transplant were a reality - think of what it would essentially mean. WTS would _hate_ to see that happen. (Unless they tacked into the wind again.)
