Double Edge
Yikes.... another attempt to revive the "true church"
"God did not die with Mr. Armstrong! Yet none of the scattered churches of God have that kind of power. They don’t receive and proclaim God’s revelation. They don’t have the right government. And their works are frankly devoid of the kind of miracles and wonders that were almost routine when the work was led by Mr. Armstrong.
We must find and remain with the God of Elijah!
All baptized members of the Church of God during the Philadelphia era will be held accountable for the fact that they were with that God for so long. The tragic fact is this: Not only have most of God’s people left Him—most of them are not even interested in where He is ! If they wanted to know, they would submit to God’s government and end up in God’s true Church"They sound desperate.

When the World Wide Church of God went back to orthodoxy under the leadership of Joseph Tkach Sr., many in the Armstrong organization left the church and formed groups that still held to his teachings. Tkach was appointed by Herbert Armstong as his successor. (One might recall that he had a falling out with his son years before.) But once entrenched Tkach began to eliminate a lot of Armstrong's teachings many that were similar to the Watchtower. He made a final break. But the religious empire that Armstrong built (Ambassador College, etc.) had to be dismantled and sold.
The book should be an interesting read.

Here is the shocking, gripping untold story of the doctrinal hijacking and spiritual destruction of the Worldwide Church of God after the death of its founder.
Should be interesting in light of the doctrinal hijacking that occurred in the Watchtower Society after the death of its founder.

Honesty
Herbert W. Armstrong was a False Prophet just like the WTBTS.
His book, "1975 IN Prophecy" leaves no doubt as to his status.

I read the book, very well written, if the BIble Students had fought againt the Judge in 1917 in the same style as Flurry did, there would be not JW"s today!

I only hope my parents don't hear of this or see the tv special advertised on the front page of that link...our family suffered enough under that organization, the last thing I'd want to see now is them sucked back into it.
As to the above...what a joke. The only thing I can ever remember Armstrong being right about was that the US and Soviet Union would not go to war. The rest of his predictions were utter drivel, including the 1975/76 end of the world fiasco the WWCG went through at the same time the WTS was having theirs. I guess they forgot about how Armstrong used to be fascinated with Hitler and Nazi Germany, and predicted the rise of a new Reich and the resurrection of Hitler as the antichrist.
