I went to a book store today, and guess what I did?

I strolled over to the "book search" computer, and typed in "Jehovahs Witnesses".

I got 84 hits !!!!! A few repeats, but at least 60 hits were different book titles, all against the Watchtower Society. This was very impressive!! Pretty soon there'll be a whole shelf dedicated to anti-Watchtower material.

I can imagine a j.w. searching for some W.T. "truth" and this all comes up. You'd think it'd make them wonder.

    It made my day.

Kaput. The C-5 galaxy is too big to fit into an avatar. LOL !!

This one is an F-4 Phantom, Vietnam era fighter. It's not a very clear picture. I used to work on these when I was in the air Force. ('62 to '66).

Haven't they already banned (secular) BOOKS? If I had a nickel for every time I heard that scripture about the making of many books...

    Spaz,

You mean the wt used that script against us woldlies? You have got to be kidding! With all their publications? I would think they would have liked to keep that script out of the picture all together, might get people thinking about the publishing co they were peddling.

    carla,

Yes. I thought the same thing. Yet another double standard. On countless occasions I've heard that scripture interpreted as being secular human writings (said with derision of course) versus the word of God (which we all know THEIR books are, so that's Totally Different from human writings) LOL

It always annoyed me when I'd read some (self-serving) citation or quote in the mags from a secular book which supposedly I wasn't supposed to spend any time reading for fear that I'd "deteriorate spiritually", (but apparently, someone at Bethel was allowed to. I was like, "I want his job"). haha

Now I see their (god-given) stance against secular education and the reading of secular books as an integral part of their self-fulfilled prophecy about "dominating man to his injury".
