The new wt CD has removed the book "Life Everlasting in the Freedom of the Sons of God."
Can anybody put up a scan of the Chronological Chart ( around page 36 or so) that states definitely:
"2975: END of Christs Milliennial Reign."
Of course for this to be true Armageddy would have to have come in 1975. (but they never said that! Even my mother denies it - and she was stocking the cupboard all winter of '74 against shortages)
So now we have two prophecies here that failed, not just one.

So much for the WTBTS claim that they never stated that 1975 was the end.
They clearly have no conscience.
Gotta love that little two-edged dig at the pope: "...dies in spite of blood transfusions".
Interesting that they chose to highlight 1957, given the discussion in COC about how they once considered shifting the "end of the Gentile Times" from 1914 to 1957, to tie into the launch of Sputnik...it seems that notion was popular for more than a little while.
Or are they going to say that it will happen at the end of the 7th rather than the start? HaHa couldn't u just imagine the mass exodus if dubs found it was going to be 2975
These chronologies are so uncertain as there are three different versions of the old testament giving different chronologies, the Septuagint, Samaritan, and the Masoretic which the Dubs trust and use without any convincing reason. Then the Jews also use the Masoretic but their dates work out different from the dubs, their 6 000 years don't end in 1975. And not that the 1 000 year (millenium) reign is a literal number, Revelation is a very symbolic book.
