How in the hell did I miss these guys? It took 16 years and Donnie Darko for me to discover these guys?

    WTF???

I kinda liked the version of the Doors' "People are Strange" that they did at the end of the movie, "The Lost Boys".

"The Killing Moon" by Echo and the Bunnymen.

One of the best song intros I've ever heard.

That's because us Brits have all the best bands . . .but we keep them to ourselves

    Did you know that the only British act/artist to have a US number 1 in over 10 years was . . . . . . . . . .James Blunt

All this amazing stuff and you guys pick up on James Blunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Echo and the Bunnymen are great - we do like Pubsinger says have the best Indie bands ever.

Nothing Last Forever by the Bunnymen - is one of my all time faves. The album Evergreen - I highly recommend!

I have all the early Bunnymen albums on vinyl, along with my Bauhaus, Joy Division, P.I.L., Cure, Siouxee and the Banshees, Killing Joke, Jesus & Mary Chain, etc etc collections.....

But their greatest hits CD, its an excellent retrospective.

So whats wrong with James Blunt?!

I can vaguely (ahem i am so young) remember echo and bunnymen, i loved the lost boys film and soundtrack with them on, had to chuck them out when i was studying though ( grrr i used to love vampire films) but that is actually the only song i can remember. I think i was into the smiths and paul young back then!
