RUSH's new album will be out very soon and they have posted thier new single to check out. I have been a fan of RUSH since thier first album. The single "Far Cry" certainly has thier trademark guitar sound, complex and powerful. This one has a strong hint of some "2112" in it.

Really? I didn't realize they were still at it. I was a fan in the '80s but lost interest in the '90s. I'll have to check it out on iTunes....

Oh no. We have to put up with more of Geddy Lee's voice? I'm from the same city as Neil Peart, my mom saw them in the 70's at the local town fair. Sorry if I'm aging some of you ... but it needs to be done. lol

I've heard the single a couple times on the radio and I'll be honest by saying it doesn't do much for me. I kinda started to lose interest after Grace under Pressure though I did like a couple tracks here and there since. I used to listen to the early stuff alot but not so much now. Moving Pictures and Subdivisions are still in rotation though,....lol
I have much respect for Rush and their evolution. I just don't care for 'em so much anymore.

I personally like Rush's new stuff. It rocks harder than their earlier stuff. Wow, this forum doesn't like firefox very much.

Even when the music direction changed to the point I didn't like it anymore, I still appreciated their lyrics....which I thought were quite poetic at times.
