They must be running out of "men" .......
No,
it was a justification for all the young GB members.
It was also a profound rejection of their own "faithful and discreet slave" teaching, in that they said there was nothing at all special about partakers. By their definition they have rejected their own slave.
Does anybody in the org think at all?
Brant
They can think but they do so in a twisted way that will serve their interests something they are very good at. Have they apparently decided to drop the distinction between anointed and non anointed? They could never explain why the two differ why did the spirit call some and not others. They make it appear as if it is some kind of random choosing.
The 144,000 is supposed to be a literal number in Watchtower doctrine. Yet in 1935 there were 52,465 Jehovah's Witness memorial partakers ( jv p.717) Add at least another 10,000 that would have died prior to 1935 and there is almost half the number filled. There were 10,000's of Christians in the first century. Does anyone really think that over 2000 years 144,000 have not yet been chosen?
Wow! The GB after 70+ years have opened the heavens, how kind of them! (Should be a smiley face here that spits)
Does anyone know of a scan "out there" of this article?

I've got a copy at home, so I'll try and scan it either tonight or tomorrow for you. Unless someone else here has a copy and a scanner.
