    I never converte anyone

I just kept on lieing to myself and everyone around me.

Just to make them think everything was ok

We were told to say "We're not here to convert you" or something like that when people at the door said they already had a religion. What a crock! Why else were we going door to door?

Yes. Everything I ever said from a Watchtower was a lie.

No. But it was understood that you never told them the whole 'truth' until they were well indoctrinated.

We knew, subconsciously, what would seem weird to potential converts and avoided such topics.

Not knowingly. They told me the world was going to end in 1975, so I told others.

If you went out in Field Service and promoted Watchtower publications you were guilty of lying.

If they're lying I am lying, never told to lie but not to tell all the truth, they would not be able to handle.
