Ok Dads out there enjoy your son's / daughter's sports seasons while you can.

Hockey just ended, a successful high school career, and now baseball is starting. We're getting his arm in shape for pitching and he also plays catcher, 1st and 3rd.

Nothing more fun in this world than playing catch with him, but after 7 years of baseball - multiple championships including a state championship and awards - this is the last season.

It started in Little League with us driving to make up meetings missed due to practices and games, me coaching the teams, him progressing and becoming an accomplished pitcher, hitter, fielder at every level.

I can't believe we are down to one last season - it's been a great way for me to make new friends since leaving the org.

So enjoy every second of your kids sports -- it all passes too quickly and I'll be back to bore the shit out of you with stories of his last season!

Down here the soccer season is due to start for me and my boys. Early mornings in the snow, coaching juniors and seniors at night, hot water off in the showers. The things we do!
