If anyone saw the pre-game stuff tonight re: Cal Ripken Jr's last game: the portrait of his father - an amazing portrait by T. Ginez - it was framed by yes, a fellow ex-jw, moi! Was it not awesome?

We were all sobbing like fools at the bar... Baltimore is fun tonight!
The frame was a Roma - beautiful chestnut wood with raised ramin embellished finish. The glass alone - true-vue museum glass - was $800.00. In fact, you could just frame the glass by itself - it is that beautiful. Sports is weird..... Cal is a true icon, though.
The season was extended of course because of the NYC tragedy. The impact it has had on so many things continues to boggle my mind. I'm continually wondering about this. But, I need to stop writing now, because I am so drunk!!! I wouldn't want to post anything weird on this DB!!!! Which would be just about anything I can think of saying right now!!! That would be too weird!!!! HAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!
