All About Soaps

  Remember when the society forbid the watching of soaps and the reading of romance books? How many watched and read anyway? Were you hooked on the soaps and romance novels when you were still a witness? Are you still hooked now that your out? What was or still is your favorite soaps and romance novels? When was the last time that the society made mentioned about the pitfalls of soaps and romance novels?

  ALL MY CHILDREN: yes, the Watchtower is losing all their children.

  AS THE WORLD TURNS: armageddon gets closer and closer, soon, near.

  THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: those who left the Watchtower and the many on this forum.

  DAYS OF OUR LIVES: filled with slaving for the Watchtower

  GENERAL HOSPITAL: hospital liaison committee.

  GUIDING LIGHT: it gets brighter and brighter, remember the kingdom song, bright shining light.

  ONE LIFE TO LIVE: and you must give it to the Watchtower.

  PASSIONS: is there a lot of this behind closed doors at Bethel?

  THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: is this the way they feel at Bethel?

  Any of these soap titles and story lines fit the Watchtower Society? Guiding Light, All My Children etc.

  I got hooked on the Guiding Light back in high school, thanks to grandma and her husband-lol j/k. It became an addiction as I followed the story line of Reva and Josh, and Reva's son Dylan. Also the Sonny/Solita storyline. I finally quit watching it in 1991 when they killed Reva off of the show, and it was a relief not to have to be enslaved to watching the show. They brough Reva back a few years later, but I never coud get back into the show.
  
  Also Amanda introduced me to Days Of Our Lives, and I almost got hooked on that too.
  
  Now I dont watch any of them, Im too busy on JWD for anything else.

  I love Passions!!! Never missed it for the last 5 years.

  I started watching Days when I was in high school and still watch it a few times a month. I watched Another World when it was still on. I watch passions every once in a while, but I'm not hooked on it.
