Hi there i have a friend whos is a witness and some of her extremists views on how great they are has led me to some research. I am unclear about the translation from scriptures to the new world translation. I understand that some of the people who claimed to be able to translate avtually couldn't and this was proved in a court of law. If this is the case how do witnesses defend themseleves against this. Please correct me if i have said anything wrong and any help would be great.

Welcome Adam, in talking with your friend, if you have any questions that come up that you are unsure of, post them here and tell her that you will get back to her after doing some research, use the forum and the depths of everyone wisdom and experience both Biblically and also quotes from the WT and then taking it back to her.
She doesn't have to know where you are getting your Research from.
