I will start by saying, I am not a part of the ministry sponsoring the convention and I have nothing to gain (materially) by promoting the convention.

When I left the Organization, I did not know what I would do, I would not go to 'babylon the great' so I planned to just live my life as best I could. Someone invited me to the 'Witnesses Now For Jesus' convention, I said I would not go, but changed my mind at the last moment and went anyway. Going to that convention changed my life forever. I will be eternally grateful.

You will be met with love, fellowship, concern, friendship, and more. Real love! These were your brothers and sisters in the WT. Some were Circuit Overseers, Elders, Pioneers, Ministerial Servants, etc.

I do not post this for any personal reason, but rather, because I know just what a life saver the convention was to me and I think it would be for all of you also.

You do not have to believe any certain belief or be a certain 'kind of person' you will be accepted just the way you are. Please come!

The convention is in (or near) New Ringgold, Pennsylvania, October 19-21, 2001.

If you would like more information, you can go to this website:

http://www.bmcr.org/main/ - go to calendar, click on October 19. That will take you to the ex-jw convention info.

You may also email me if you like and I will give you any help that I can.

We also have get-togethers, some this weekend. We're pro-Jah & His Christ who grant Christian Freedom (Ro 14:1-5), help our trampled on JW families & friends but anti-Watchtower: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jahchristian

    Hi Anewperson,

Yes, thanks, we also have support groups and get togethers in our area. I think one value of going to the Penn. convention is that there will be 300+ people there, especially on Saturday. Most of those people, including some ex-mormons and others, know exactly where we have been.

It helps us, I think, to really realize that we are not alone. And the exchange of information, help, and encouragement is very comforting.

Just wanted to bring this up again for the sake of Badwillie and Truth especially, and others. I am leaving for Pennsylvania tonight after work and would really like to see some of you there.

Borgfree (great name by the way),
I am interested in checking that out. Do you know how far that town is from Philly?

    Hi Badwillie,
I am not real sure. We used to go to NY from the convention to picket for a few hours. We would stop by Philadelphia to pick up some ex's, I think it was about an hours drive. The convention is between New Ringgold and Snyders PA on RT 895. Hope to see you there.

The convention name is deceptive, it says witnesses now FOR JESUS..i am athiest and do not wish to be immersed in a relgious fervor...'Oh isnt it great to be free of the watchtower so we can worship JEEeeezus? Come to my church on sunday its great! Dont you just love jeezzuuss?'

If it were a completley relgion neutral convention I'd go. Would you go to a Witnesses Now For Satan? Or Witnesses Now for the advancement of Vishnoo?

    from the website:

Many testimonies will be given attesting to the power of Jesus Christ in their lives. Beneficial teaching to everyone in witnessing to a Jehovah Witness. For further information and a list of speakers, write to Joan Cetnar, Host and Coordinator, RT 3 Box 127, Kunkletown, PA 18058.

What a load of crap. From one cult to another. This is NOT helping ex cult members but rather taking advantage of their vulnerablities. Shame on you. Your advertisement of the site was also deceptive.

You do not have to believe any certain belief or be a certain 'kind of person' you will be accepted just the way you are. Please come!

This sounds exactly like JW talk..'we talk to people of ALL religions!' exactly..because you want to convert them, 'save' them..bullshit.

    Bboyneko,

This will be my 9th year attending the convention, I speak from experience. How many times have you been there? I would not claim that the convention is anything but Christian centered. I do not consider Christian, Christ or Jesus bad words.

I said you would be welcomed just the way you are and that has been my experience. I will welcome you just the way you are. I cannot promise that everyone there will not try to encourage you to see things their way but I do not know of anyone I have met there who would be pushy to you.

I completely deny your charge of deception on either my part or the part of the website. I mean every word of what I said and I cannot see where you can make a charge of deception about their site when you say very clearly that they state they are Christian, and that Christian testimonies will be given there.

I would not try to force my Christian beliefs on you, I do not think you can make the same claim about your beliefs. Neither would I call, what you hold dear, every name I could come up with.
