Is the Watchtower Society a FALSE Prophet? The Bible provides the answer to that question:
Deuteronomy 18:18-21 (CEV):
So when I want to speak to them, I will choose one of them to be a prophet like you. I will give my message to that prophet, who will tell the people exactly what I have said. Since the message comes from me, anyone who doesn't obey the message will have to answer to me. But if I haven't spoken, and a prophet claims to have a message from me, you must kill that prophet, and you must also kill any prophet who claims to have a message from another god. You may be asking yourselves, "How can we tell if a prophet's message really comes from the LORD?" You will know, because if the LORD says something will happen, it will happen. And if it doesn't, you will know that the prophet was falsely claiming to speak for the LORD. Don't be afraid of any prophet whose message doesn't come from the LORD. -

The Watchtower is rather ambivalent on its position as "a prophet." On the one hand, it claims that its predictions were not prophecies but, rather, observation and comments on Bible prophecy. But on the other hand, it has claimed to be a "modern day" prophet organization. It is typical of the "double speak" in the organization.

We allways can use "ask questionts" tactics against JDubs. Normally you will ask... does WT claims about matter of faith and morals qualifies as Word of God. Ofcourse they will say no. Then ask - does dissagreement on calims of WT qualifies as dissagreement on Word of God? In this moment they should be paintend into corner, coz if they say - yes, then they lied to first question. If they say no, then they claim that you are free to interpretate Word of God without listening to WT!

Before it's determined whether they're a false prophet, do they accept that they are a prophet?
No: "Never in these instances, however, did they presume or originate predictions ‘in the name of Jehovah’. Never did they say ‘These are the words of Jehovah’." (AW 3/22/93)
Yes: "God has a people on earth, all of whom are prophets, or witnesses for God...Jehovah’s Witnesses." (AW 6/8/86 p9)
No: "Jehovah’s Witnesses do not claim to be inspired prophets." (Reasoning, 1985, p136)

Yes: "Jehovah has raised up a genuine prophet in our generation.
