I Served a Seder Dinner!

  How much further could I have fallen off that Dub horse eh? Whilst the memorial was happenin....I was at a Jewish client's house (I do house watching for Snow Birds) helping her serve her Seder to 20 guests :) Got to sit and listen to the whole shabang. They might eat little tiny bits of stuff during the ceremony but boy howdy did they make up for it AFTERWARDS! I have NEVER seen that much food in one place and they put a major dent in it!

  I was thinking it was so ironic tho...the Dubs are all out there NOT partaking and all the Jews ARE partaking and partaking and partaking. :)

  And I got paid $60 for it too! hehehehe

  Ya, no kidding eh? I said the same thing last year: The Jews have Passover, the rest of Christian religions have Easter where celebrations are just that: celebrations. And how do the Witnesses celebrate? By having a boring talk, passing around 'refreshments' that no one's allowed to partake of, and then tell everyone what slackers they are and that they're going to die soon if they don't do more. I was invited to a Sedar last night too.....I would have gone but I told my parents I'd go to the Memorial with them. Oh ya, it was such fun!

  And they wonder why attendence is down!

  The dubs celebrated Nisan 14 on Nisan 15 this year.

  The Jews always have had it together no matter how much the "Faithless Slave" maligns them.

  Honesty...I remember thinking as a Dub when the Memorial and the Passover happened to be on the same night as they were last night..."Well look at that! The JEWS GOT IT RIGHT THIS YEAR."

  Ugh...blech...what was I thinking????
