2007 Masters - anyone watching?

Tiger Woods finished the day with a +3, and when he walked off the 18th, there were a dozen or so in front of him, or had potential to be in front of him. There was virtually no chance at first glance that he would end up in the final pairing for Sunday.

Yet he did. The entire field came back to meet or fall behind him, except the Aussie, Stuart Appleby at +2. So he and Tiger will tee up last tomorrow.

I believe that Augusta has never played harder - and predict that a -1 or -2 for the day tomorrow could win it. But there are a bunch of good possibles in the hunt at +5 or +6, and somebody with a super round out of that group could be there.

My prediction; Tiger wins by one stroke @ Even par.

Tiger must be lickin' his chops, especially after the way those in front of him finished. Go Tiger!

I understand what these fellows are going through. I remember one tournament when a well know local professional golfer walk of the course because the greens were treacherous. It's easy for us to make suggestions, and say, even a child can make that missed shot or putt. Ah, the real world of tough golf tournaments are miles apart from your ordinary week-end golf courses. Listen carefully to the ones who have finshed their round and give their impressions of the course. They tell the true story.
I'm still picking Tiger, experience comes into play.

I saw a little of the 'Masters" Friday and Saturday....What a beautiful golf course...Reminded me of what the Garden of Eden might have looked like back in the day.

Tophat, I'm into nature's beauty. I've had a golfing buddy who went to the Masters and he said, what we see on tv is no where near the actual beauty when you see the course in person. This is true, because I have played many private courses and they are well manicured. Nature's beauty is awesome!

Golf2, Plus the beauty is even more magnificent in the spring when all the trees and flowers are in bloom.

    I'd rather watch paint dry.
