I was just browsing through my new cdrom and researching a few topics to share with some friends.

I found regarding disassociation and I seem to recall that when I called the 800 hotline for people questioning I got some great literature regarding how the scriptures applied are taken out of their context.

However, I no longer have this and am wondering if anyone has a link for this info or better yet can post it here.

It would just be nice to be able to show the contrast between how the JW's apply these verses and how they were meant to be taken.

    Thanks

i understand the fact that many people believe in what they believe and they could be wrong on there beliefs to but not if its just so obvious that its wrong. The WTS is MAKING UP all of your rules. just sitting there and making them. how do you know there true. do you have any real promise your going to a better place when you die? and even if you do your not equal. some go to a better place and if your going for whats right that isnt. and where is the love!? if some people fall astray or fade away you just disown them! your children!? parent!? or any family members! why would you want to live like that without knowing what going to happen in the end. the WTS could make a rule not to eat pizza cuz its worldly, and you would! What if you fell in love with someone that was a JW? you couldnt be with them. NOT FAIR. i will post a .. later that is about the guy that wrote your "bible" he couldnt read what it said. and he finaly confessed that he was making half of it up. and how could you guys still believe that after he admited he was just making it up! please i beg you spread the word. dont let this keep happening. im willing to talk more. im starting up with helping. i just want everyone to know what there getting traped in. a cult. thats what it is. You just dont know it,.

if you want to ask more e-mail me at: [email protected] my name is cassidy celina m.

im a real person hurting to think about the familys. think about the kids not getting to live the school life like the yest of the kids;. NO SPORTS, DANCES, AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES! etc..etc... its not fair.

    okay thank you. cassidy.

P.S send this to people who you think need to see this. i want the JW to see this.. oh open there eyes.

Hi miss tell all, welcome to the board

I was just curious, did you know that this board is made up mostly ex-jw's?

It is good to have another fellow ex-jw on the board(not intentionally leaving out the JW apologists! we love you too)

Writing using the the pronoun, ''you'', and the possesive pronoun, ''your'' was confusing since your writing style seemed to address the believing JW's when the majority of the people here are ex-JW's.

Perhaps when you have a post to address to the believing JW apologist, maybe you could put that as your heading, so that we all know who you are directing your comments to.

eclipse: Misstellall has posted the very same thing on several threads now. When she made her second post, several welcomed her and told her that most of us are ex-JW's. I'm beginning to think she is just posting and not reading replies.

BTT Topic: I was watching a video on youtube the other evening in which an ex-JW professor laments the fact that so many JW's leave the organization but have no internalized moral code or value system. It must be very confusing to be brought up to believe that having lunch with someone who is not "JW approved" is on a par with stealing or a real wrong.

No wonder JW's don't know right from wrong. No wonder it would be too hard for many to leave because they wouldn't know how to set boundaries or have a normal friendship.

    Regards,

Thanks Sandra! Since this was the first post of hers that I had read, I did not realize she had already been told where she was, lol. my bad.

I have since read all of her her posts...

I think you are correct, she either isn't reading our responses, or wasn't understanding that she was on a ex-jw site. Hopefully she gets it now. Sorry for hijacking this thread...
