Whilst in Britain we are experiencing unseasonably warm weather - in the low 70s this week I just saw news footage of huge amounts of snow in America and the Rockies.
Who has got snow today and how much? I am getting seriously alarmed that I will need to change my attire for my Dallas visit in 2 weeks and 6 days time!!!!
No snow fell. but 1 tree did. We had high winds and some fires.
I think it's going to be warm in Dallas when you visit. Throw in a light jacket for some cool nights, possibly. We always get a little cold weather around Easter in the South, then it warms right back up. Ask again in a week and we should know for sure. It was 70 here today. Very nice comfortable day....probably about the same in Dallas.

an unrelated question to the weather, but its my thread....anyone know the costs of things in Dallas like food and drink ? I'd just like to have an idea of if I am bringing enough money with me to feed and water myself...how much for 24 beers or similar (thats not for me - thats for the fest I hasten to add!) How much for champagne a bottle? Grateful if anyone knows ...

It is snowing today, it snowed yesterday but nothing is sticking, so far. But, here's the kicker.....
Sunday/Monday prediction is for up to 2' of snow! I am going to drive to NYC for a meetup on Saturday anyway and hopefully will make it back home on Sunday early enough to beat the storm. I live upstate NY in the foothills of the Catskill mountains, also known as the Leatherstocking Region of NY. Wish me luck.
