We find where the WTS editorial staff has written their opinions:
"Jehovah is using only one organization today to accomplish his will. To receive everlasting life in the earthly Paradise we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it."
(Watchtower, February 15, 1983, p. 12)
"You must be part of Jehovah's organization, doing God's will, in order to receive his blessing of everlasting life."
(You Can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth, p. 255)
"Jehovah is using only one organization today to accomplish his will. To receive everlasting life in the earthly Paradise we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it."
(Watchtower, February 15, 1983, p. 12)
On page 27 in paragraphs 4 and 6 the December 1, 1981: The Watchtower magazine says, "Jehovah God has also provided his visible organization, his “faithful and discreet slave,” made up of spirit - anointed ones, to help Christians in all nations to understand and apply properly the Bible in their lives. Unless we are in touch with this channel of communication that God is using, we will not progress along the road to life, no matter how much Bible reading we do.
This “faithful and discreet slave,” which is associated with Jehovah’s Witnesses, has indeed been used by Jehovah God to guide, strengthen and direct his people."
"Do not conclude that there are different roads, or ways, that you can follow to gain life in God's new system. There is only one. There was just the one ark that survived the Flood, not a number of boats. And there will be only one organization--God's visible organization--that will survive the fast- approaching "great tribulation." It is simply not true that all religions lead to the same goal.... You must be part of Jehovah's organization, doing God's will, in order to receive his blessing of everlasting life."
(You Can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth, p. 255)
"What does God require of those who will reside forever upon his Paradise earth? Jesus Christ identified a first requirement when he said in prayer to his Father: 'This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.' Many have found the second requirement more difficult. It is to obey God's laws. The third requirement is that we be associated with God's channel, his organization. The fourth requirement is connected with loyalty. God requires that prospective subjects of his Kingdom support his government by loyally advocating his Kingdom rule to others."
(Watchtower, February 15, 1983, p. 26)
"Your attitude toward the wheatlike annointed 'brothers' of Christ and the treatment you accord them will be the determining factor as to whether you go into 'everlasting life.'"
(Watchtower, August 1, 1981, p. 26)
"And while now the witness yet includes the invitation to come to Jehovah's organization for salvation, the time no doubt will come when the message takes on a harder tone, like a 'great war cry.'"
(Watchtower, November 15, 1981, p. 21)
"Know that all living at Armageddon will be baptized, either with fire for destruction with the wicked or with salvation for life with the theocratic organization."
(Watchtower, June 1, 1952 p. 350)
"The ark of salvation that we enter is not a literal ark but is God's organization."
(Watchtower, June 1, 1950, p. 176)
"It would make the organization odious in the eyes of sincere people and would prevent these offended ones from coming to the organization and being saved." (Watchtower, April 15, 1951, p. 240)
"Jehovah's servants plant the message of truth in the hearts of men of good will, studying the Bible with the people who desire to learn, and this produces fruit after cultivation. (Matt. 13:23) Thus these gain words of salvation an seek refuge and life through Jehovah's organization."
(Watchtower, September 1, 1951, p. 535)
"Those desiring salvation must make for God's organization, and find entrance into it and remain there permanently."
(Watchtower, October 1, 1952, p. 603)
"The flock of God keep together. They do not stray from the New World society. In the old-world organization there are snares and pitfalls. The dangers are everywhere. Men and organizations will take advantage of you, and you will have no protection. Keep inside God's organization."
(Watchtower, March 15, 1958, p. 189)
"To understand the Bible for their salvation they had to have it explained through God's organization." (Watchtower, November 15, 1961, p. 692)
"Your attitude toward the anointed is the determining factor whether you go into everlasting cutting off or everlasting life”. WT/81/p. 26
To keep in relationship with our ‘Savior, God,’ the great crowd needs to remain united with the remnant of spiritual Israelites.” WT/11/15/ 1997, p. 26
“Unless you are in touch with this channel of communication that God is using, we will not progress along the road to life, no matter how much bible reading we do”. WT/1/1981/ p. 27
“So recognition of that governing body and its place in God’s theocratic arrangement of things is necessary for submission to the headship of God’s Son”. WT 12/15/1972/p.755
"If we want to assure our everlasting salvation, we must stay within the bounds of Jehovah God's loving provision associated with his visible organization, presided over by his High Priest."
(Watchtower, August 15, 1967, p. 503)
"Bible students need to get acquainted with the organization of the "one flock" Jesus spoke about at John 10:16. They must appreciate that identifying themselves with Jehovah's organization is essential to their salvation. (Rev. 7:9, 10, 15) Therefore, we should start directing our Bible students to the organization as soon as a Bible study is established."
(Our Kingdom Ministry, November 1990, p. 1)
Yet they said this:
"Can Jehovah's Witnesses today take part in this obviously "modern version of idolatry" and actually "imputing of salvation to a person or an organization"?
As Christians, we face up to similar challenges today. We cannot take part in any modern version of idolatry -- be it worshipful gestures toward an image or symbol or the imputing of salvation to a person or an organization."
(Watchtower, November 1, 1990, p. 26)
"Bible students need to get acquainted with the organization of the "one flock" Jesus spoke about at John 10:16. They must appreciate that identifying themselves with Jehovah's organization is essential to their salvation. (Our Kingdom Ministry, November 1990, p. 1)
****Watchtower, September 1, 1989, p. 19: ***ONLY JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES***, those of the anointed remnant and the "great crowd," as a united organization under the protection of the Supreme Organizer, ***HAVE ANY SCRIPTURAL HOPE*** of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan the Devil."
Watchtower 9/15/93 page 22 : "But if we were to draw away from Jehovah's organization, there would be **NO PLACE ELSE TO GO FOR SALVATION**"...
Watchtower 11/15/92 page 21 paragraph 12 :..."We will be impelled to serve Jehovah loyally with his organization if we remember that **THERE IS NOWHERE ELSE TO GO FOR LIFE ETERNAL**
jv chap. 12 pp. 170-171 The Great Crowd to Live in Heaven? Or on Earth?:..."AT ARMAGEDDON JEHOVAH WILL DESTROY THE PEOPLES OF THE EARTH, SAVING ONLY THOSE WHO OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS TO STAND BY HIS ORGANIZATION".
Watchtower 2/15/1983 page 12: "A third requirement is that we be associated with God’s channel, his organization. God has always used an organization. For example, only those in the ark in Noah’s day survived the Flood, and only those associated with the Christian congregation in the first century had God’s favor. (Acts 4:12) Similarly, Jehovah is using only **ONE** organization today to accomplish his will. **To receive everlasting life in the earthly Paradise we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it**.
Watchtower 11/15/1981 pages 16, 17: " **ANY PERSON** who wants to survive into God’s righteous new order urgently needs to come into a right relationship with Jehovah and His earthly organization now".
Watchtower 6/1/1959 page 336 "Look! I Am Making All Things New": **Your safety and the whole future of yourself and your family depend on now studying the Bible, associating with the New World society of Jehovah’s witnesses**...
Watchtower 82 12/15/1982 page 27: "In this way **ONLY lovers of God and of his family, his organization, will survive and enter into the cleansed earth that is to be transformed into a glorious Paradise**."
Watchtower 3/1/1954 page 139: "**Only by keeping integrity to God and by associating with God’s people, the New World society**, may we hope to survive the destruction of this wicked world in the coming battle of Armageddon and enter into the new world of righteousness even as Noah and his family entered a new world after the flood".
"Those who desire life in the new order MUST COME INTO A RELATIONSHIP WITH (THIS) ORGANIZATION. ” WT 11/15/ 1981/ p. 16-17
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While the average JW or JW "study" will be led to the conclusion that this "organization" means " ONLY THE WATCHTOWER SOCIETY"----we saw (from a JW) on another board, where the term "Christianity" can now be accurately substituted, for "Jehovah's organization", in the WTS printings and teachings.
The WTS has said: "When Jesus came to god’s spiritual temple in 1918 for the purpose of judging men, CHRISTENDOM WAS REJECTED.” WT/8/1/p. 462, 1960 Other than the "obvious representations" of this statement that we can successfully argue---let's work with this fact:
Now....despite the fact that the Watchtower uses "Christendom" as a totally derogatory term in ALL of its its teachings and publications----the standard dictionary defines Christendom as (1) "Christians collectively", (2)-"the Christian world"---we find that it carries and conveys any negativity ONLY within the Watchtower's definitions!! Interesting.....and purposely misleading.
On JWD, we, as former JWs, have often discussed the many nuances and "understandings" of WTS theology---this being a large part of the "understanding" of the JW and what he teaches others---that when "on the carpet---he will quickly state that "we never said that only JWs will survive Armageddon", but in his heart that it is not quite the way he feels or what he actually conveys to others (students) by mouth or through the WTS printed teachings.
IF the JW honestly felt that "all Christians" (the subsititution offered earlier) were going to enter THEIR Paradise Earth---why would they go to all the trouble of learning months and months of THEIR WTS doctrine and dedicating themselves through THEIR "spirit-directed" organization, attending all THEIR meetings and knocking on doors presenting THEIR literature??
Have you EVER heard any JW refer to anyone who "may be" eligible today for this survival OTHER than fellow JWs? (I'm not talking about those old articles speaking about those who "may not have HEARD the Good News"---or those that are dead) WHO would a JW, if prompted, feel would qualify for this "life in their New Order"?
The WTS viewpoint, theology, and agenda---is deliberately and purposely dishonest----and this is MY OPINION!
