I think it will hurt in the long run. Anyone else have an opinion? seek2find

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I may have missed it.

My problem with thinking something will help or hurt the Witnesses is how will I know? And how will I measure it? The real score is their money in the bank, but how can I get a look at those balances? I cant!

The owners know but I won't.

What I'm concerned about is what will help me.

I do nor suppose many people will see it, outside of those who watch U.S. PBS TV , so it won't make any difference

Hi, Gary, I guess I was thinking about whether it would help or hurt the "witnessing" effort, not necessarly the Society in a finiancial way. I don't really care about the finiancial thing, but I do care about the future people who my be deceived at their front doors. seek2find

Hi Seek2find, I'm thinking that here in the United States a Witness has a much better chance of getting struck by lightening while out in service than making a convert. It's like playing golf. More golfers get struck by lightning than get a hole in one. A new convert is a hole in one.

I only wish it were true that no new converts are being made. There are several in the area I live in, especially in the Spanish field. Where there is ignorance, groups like JWs will always find fertile minds. Unfortunately I even know of some college graduate converts. Go figure.
