In the March 2007 Watchtower on religion, the writer mumbles on and on about the virtues of true religion. The same was true in one of the tracts used in one of the more recent campaigns. They did not however proclaim themselves the only true religion.
Are the J-Dubs no longer claiming to be the only true religion in public print? What is the deal?

That's disturbing with all the problems and things wrong with being a witness, I always thought at least they were the only true religion.
NOW there back peddaling on that too! Witnoids are going to be jumping off the Sunshine Sky Way when they read that.
Hard to keep up with their current belief/teachings, isn't it?
I don't think they've abandoned that. They keep the patter up regularly enough that those who have long heard the mantra that the WTS is the only true religion will automatically be thinking this when they read about the virtues of true religion.
