WTS Teachings on Online Gaming/Video Games

  How is this practiced in the congregations? How strict do they get? Some of you might have been out when the more recent games and technology was released, but give me your experiences.

  A JW said today, her boyfriend played World of Warcraft for a while, until he came across a Pentagram image in the CG evironment of the game(the virtual world environment you play in, for those that aren't as familiar).

  So my thoughts are..."Never mind the wizardry, magic, spell casting and slashing people up with your broad sword, but come across a pentagram, and it's run like crazy"

  to follow up, I was also thinking that because there was another JW in the room, she might have said that he stopped playing cause the pentagram, and he really hasn't.

  I first thought WTS ment Want To Sell. I've played online games too much. I don't see how they could justify playing it with all the witchcraft, necromancy, violence, and scantily clad women there's a game called Lineage II, and some of the female avatars look like they just came out of an S&M shop. It's a virtual sin fest!
