  I wonder how many colleges around the nation close because of threats that we never hear about.

  Pulaski Technical College Closes All Campuses After Receiving Threat

  Pulaski Technical College is closing its campuses today after receiving a threat of a Virginia Tech type of incident.
  
  North Little Rock Police received a phone call just after midnight Thursday from a person who said he overheard two men talking about such action.
  
  As a precaution, Pulaski Technical decided to close. College employees are located at each entrance to the main campus in North Little Rock telling students to return home.
  
  North Little Rock Police officers are going through each room in all buildings to search for possible explosive devices.

  It is so easy to cause disruption with a mere phone call imagine what would happen if lots of nut cases did that. The problem is that authorities can't ignore these threats due to the possibility however small that they may be genuine.

  Years ago my brother new a young man who was *obviously* part of the brain trust - he decided he didn't want to go to work (WalMart) so he called in a bomb threat to get the store closed down.

  Unfortunately for him, he called from his *home phone*.

  The cops were there shortly.
