Back in Washington after 8 18 hour days...

As many of you know, we relocated to Washington State. I was in the middle of remodeling our house when we left, so I flew back 10 days ago to finish. 8 days 18 hours a day to get 98% done. Wife took a week's vacation to take care of our 2 year old.

We had a house lined up here in WA; signed the papers; transferred several thousand dollars, and the seller has balked (long story). So we are still in the hotel... 9 weeks now, I think, and looks like another 2 months here while we start our search all over again.

I'm too depressed to drink. I didn't know it could happen! The challenge is staying in 2 hotel rooms with a 2 year old boy and his 5 month old lab. Both of them vying for my attention, while the wife goes to work and gets to speak adult language, which I have lost the command of, it seems.

Here he comes again. No diaper, though Belle is following up the rear... diaper in mouth. They both seem very happy!

Thanks and see you all in the funny farm!

Oh my. Bryan, now is the time to dress the child, leash the dog, and get thee to the nearest park where the little ones can run OUTSIDE for a while. If you're lucky, you won't be the only parent there and you can have some semi-adult conversation, even if it's about stretch marks and potty training.

See, if you'd come to Texas I could promise you the loan of our backyard and a babysitter . . .

    Good luck with house-hunting!!

    Hugs,

    Nina

And yes, living near you guys would be fantastic. I only wish life was that convienient.

    Love you guys!

Holy cow Bryan! I don't hang around here much anymore, so I didn't know you guys had moved. And geez, stuck in a hotel is tough, real tough.

I don't blame you, finding the right house is not easy and worse having to do so in your circumstances.

Give E and S a big hug from me.

Wow...your story makes me wonder if you should have taken my advice to come to the Tri-Cities.

The wife and I visited a friend of hers, last week that just moved into a new home in West Pasco. I'm flabbergasted at all the new homes going up in the Tri-Cities, especially Pasco.

Hopefully you'll find that home soon.
