Hi all,
Does anyone have advice or experiences (especially people in the UK) regarding the jw's trying to extert power of attorney over an elderly person? This is an elderly person who has returned to the jws evidentally on their own for their own comfort given their age and health.

It probably is obvious, but I should mention that this would be a situation where the elderly person had a good deal of money.
They went back into the cult at least initally, but I have heard there are some experiences out there of elders or others trying to extert power of attorney over these people in order to get their money. Usually it seems to be related to the blood issue but I think they could do it if the person is senile or unable to care for themselves....
