hi people. new here. not sure how to go about topics, but has anyone seen that movie "a fish called wanda"? it is really good. also the movie "the world according to garp?" they are both good movies in english. hooperman

Welcome to the forum Hooperman, are you a JW or ex JW? I saw the film a fish called Wanda, it is considered among the best films of the 1980's and of course it got an Oscar in 1989.

Hello Hooperman, welcome to the board. I will have to check those movies out. I havent seen a good movie in a while.

I rented the History Boys the other day we had to turn it off after the first hour boring going nowhere.

It recieved numerous awards but it didnt fly for me.

Yah I liked both movies . world according to garp is one of robin williams best flicks .Just saw spiderman 3 and really liked it .

A Fish Called Wanda is really funny - I've seen it a couple of times. The world according to Garp isn't as good in my opinion. Maybe that's because I find Robin Williams hard to take.

how many of you like that show "jag"? I think it is a good show. everybody loves raymond is one of my favorites too. but my all time favorite is mork and mindy.
