I have just completed my paper (rough draft) and would like your opinions on the following question before I do my final copy.
To what extent did Kathleen Kenyon’s excavations at Jericho revolutionise ideas previously held by prehistorians about Neolithic society?

It showed that cities were far, far older than anyone could have thought....rather than going back to the Early Bronze Age as in Mesopotamia or the Chalcolithic Age as in Upper Mesopotamia and Anatolia, Jericho was shown as dating back to the Neolithic period with initial settlement possibly going even further back to near the beginning of the Holocene epoch.
