J.W. DOCUMENTARY TONIGHT (SUNDAY) 10 P.M.

There is a documentary tonight at 10 p.m. Eastern time, on "Independent lens", cable channel 21 on Cox cable in New England. (also called...pbs, wgbx channel 44)

It's titled..."MEMBERS OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES" and the info says.."Two families are practicing members of Jehovah Witnesses".

I will tape it, and critique it on this thread after I review it. I am thinking if it is a "live" show, there might be a "comments from viewers" part after the documentary, but I'm not sure of that. It might be interesting to see what they cover in this program.

Perhaps there will be an internet link to the show for comments, also. I hope many of you are able to watch it. I am hoping somewhere in the program someone mentions the abuse settlements.

It doesn't look like DirecTV's PBS station carries it. :-( No Independant Lens where I am tonight.

But the Knocking documentary comes on this Wednesday.

I just checked my local PBS station for the entire week- no "knocking" movie. They did run the 2 show about Mormons a few weeks ago.

I tried "knocking" in my TiVo, nothing for today (Sun) or even Tues. My TiVo knows what is aired for about a month. Is it possible that "my" PBS is one of the ones not willing to air it?

I watched this and created this thread. Not as one-sided a film as I expected. I don't think this is a film to fear for bringing people to the JW viewpoint. The Witnesses come across as odd and not very appealing. What did you think??
